2016 Comprehensive Benefit Funding Plan Materials Available on the Extranet

The following 2016 Comprehensive Benefit Funding Plan materials are now available on the Extranet:

These materials were reviewed during the two December webinars and updated based on feedback.

As a reminder, ¶1506.6 of the Book of Discipline requires each annual conference to annually develop, adopt and implement a formal comprehensive funding plan for all benefit obligations. This plan must be approved by annual conference after receipt of a favorable written opinion from the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits.

Holiday Closing—Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The General Board will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Customer service assistance will be unavailable on this day.

Benefits Access for participants can be used to access account information and make transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, accessible by calling 1-800-851-2201, is also available for participants.

The Wespath Institutional Investor Portal and Benefits Access are available for plan sponsors, conferences and institutions.

Save the Dates—Conference Forum and HealthFlex Mini-Summit

The Conference Forum and HealthFlex Mini-Summit will be held March 11-12, 2015 at The Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, Illinois.

The HealthFlex Mini-Summit will begin on Wednesday morning, March 11. The Conference Forum will begin after lunch on March 11, continuing through to Thursday afternoon, March 12.

Conference benefits officers and treasurers are encouraged to attend this event.
